This one is called Beckys dresses and is by Rosalind Gregory
"preserving the dresses and associated memories"

This next one is by Janneke de Vries-Bodzinga from the Netherlands and is called Octopussy and was the winner of the Art quilts.

I love the fabric folding of this one but sadly forgot to picture the details of who made it.

ReplyDeleteTotally awesome and inspiring! Thanks for sharing! So many unique projects.
ReplyDeleteI'm back from 2 days at the FoQ. Wasn't it fab?! I just loved Octopussy. It was absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteI sure have enjoyed your photos, those from August 11 also,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much.
I'm all the more determined to go to Birmingham next year!!
I visited your blog because I was searching for people who have a Pffaf Quilt Expression 4. Are you happy with yours? Have you used it much for free motion quilting? I have had mine for about 2 years and I have started having trouble with it shredding the top thread when I go to free motion quilt backwards, that is pulling the quilt towards me. Have you had any problems? Thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteGlad you like Becky's dresses. Her father is particularly fond of it. The only problem is that my sisters and sister-in -law also want it 'cos their girls also wore the dresses. All the smocked dresses that I made for Becky were also worn be nieces and friends.
ReplyDeleteI need to go back into the attic and see if I can find any more dresses for another quilt
